Young at ArtWorks

Diane Miller is a promising artist in the Dallas area.  She focuses on two dimensional textural arts that emphasize her passion for form and color.  Interest in photography has inspired Diane to experiment in watercolor and colored tissue collage that has been a favorite in playrooms, nurseries and children’s hospitals.  She is currently working to partner up with area interior designers to incorporate her talents and challenge her creativity.

“ I was very excited to be asked to contribute and participate once again in the wonderful annual charity event benefiting the Plano Art Centre entitled For the Love of Art. Apples for Grandma’s Pie, an original tissue paper collage and a print of my original work, Gone Fishing were showcased in their silent auction.  I am particularly fond of these two pieces because they exude joyous vibes within a unique artistic expression which is the feeling that I strive to accomplish in all of my works.

The Plano Art Centre holds a special place in my heart as it was the first gallery to exhibit my art. And, what a thrill it was for me to be in a position to give back to the arts and to share my success with the community of Plano.”
